People, Process and Policies

To "do something" can mean very different things to different entrepreneurs. Whether you have an IT company, retail store, accounting firm, or restaurant, you have a vision of what you want to accomplish and a s skill set in your field to help propel you forward. What you might not have is an operational background (or the time!) to manage and grow your business toward that vision. This can mean you get bogged down in these areas, or neglecting them as you are out "doing" whatever your business is actually all about.
